With Deepest Sympathy |

It has truely been a blessing to know such a great Man of God as Dec. Jones. I can remember being a little girl at church with my grandmother, I sometimes felt uncomfortable or unsure what to call everyone since we were not related and everyone else referred to each other as Uncle and/or Aunt. One Saturday, Dec. Jones told me that it was o.k. to call him "Uncle Lewis" and since then that is exactly what I have referred to him as. Uncle Lewis, you will truely be missed. Thank you so much for the many rides to church you have given my grandmother and I (when I was younger).
Aunt Tommie, Alexis, Penny and Beverly, I pray that God gives you peace in the midst of this difficult time.
Sincerly,
Sherrilla Simmons

Penney,
This is a beautiful site in honor of your father and his life. I was there, I was a witness to everything, and beleive me your father was always the same, he never changed, he was lewis jones morning, noon, or night, he was not phoney at no time. Me and my family had great respect for the man.

You have my deepest sympathy. I remember your Pops being a very nice and gentle man and I know he's in a place where there's no more pain just joy and peace. May the Lord be with Momma Tommie, Alexis, Penny and you Beverly.
With all my love
Muriel and the Chrispin Family.
